Morgan Freeman was born June 1, 1937 in Memphis, TN. With an authoritative voice and calm demeanour, this ever popular American actor has grown into one of the most respected figures in modern US cinema. Born in June 1937 in Memphis, Tennessee, the young Freeman attended Los Angeles Community College before serving several years in the US Air Force as a mechanic between 1955 and 1959. His first dramatic arts exposure was on the stage and he appeared in an off-Broadway production of “The Nigger Lovers” and also in an all-African American production of the exuberant musical Hello, Dolly!
Ashley Juddwas born April 19, 1968 in Granada Hills, CA.
Turned down a larger role in Kuffs (1992) because she was asked to do nude scenes. She responded, “My mother worked too hard for me to take my clothes off in my first movie.”
Hobbies: running, rock climbing, mountain hiking, yoga, gardening, cooking
She attended 12 schools in 13 years before college. She was a sister of the sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Kentucky, where she majored in French and minored in cultural anthropology, art history, theater, and women’s studies. She left a few credits shy of graduating in 1990, when she decided to drive cross-country to pursue an acting career in Hollywood.
Harry Connick Jr. was born September 11, 1967 in New Orleans, LA. Harry’s parents were both lawyers (his father Harry became New Orleans District Attorney, his mother Anita, a judge, died of ovarian cancer when Harry Jr. was 13). They owned a record store and encouraged their son’s interest in music – piano at age three, with a New Orleans jazz band aged ten. He won piano competitions while playing French Quarter clubs and attending the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts. At eighteen, he studied at New York’s Hunter College and later on at the Manhatan School of Music. At nineteen, he released his first album for Columbia Records and began an extended run performing at the Algonquin’s Oak Room, followed a year later by his second album.
