Are you looking for something for the family to do on Friday night – June 10? Here is a very good suggestion.
The Helena Business and Professional Association is sponsoring a free movie to be shown in the Old Town Helena Amphitheater. The concession stand opens at 6:30pm and the movie begins at 8:00pm. Prior to the movie there will be games for all the kids.
The movie being shown is Shrek Forever After and is rated PG. You may view the movie trailer here.
Story: Rumpelstiltskin tricks a mid-life crisis burdened Shrek into allowing himself to be erased from existence and cast in a dark alternate timeline where Rumpel rules supreme.
Stars: Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy
The concession stand serves hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, nachos, popcorn, candy and a variety of soft drinks or water.
Bring your blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy a fun evening with the entire family.
No outside food, drinks or coolers allowed!

Volunteers Needed. Judging by the crowd we had last Friday night, this is going to be a big summer for the movies in the Amphitheater Park. The volunteer crew in the concession stand was overwhelmed by the demand for burgers, hot dogs, nachos, fries and popcorn, etc.
If you have the “volunteer spirit” please come down to the park at 6:30 p.m. this Friday (6/10) and we will most definitely find something for you to do. This is a great opportunity for teenagers who need to fulfill their community service requirements as well.
You may also ask to be added to our volunteer list for any or all of the other Friday night dates from June 10 through August 5.
